  1. What is Text Top Up?
    Text Top Up is a top up method that allows Digicel prepaid customers to pre-register their credit card online to allow them to send text messages from their handset requesting top ups anytime they need it.

  3. How do I sign up for Text Top Up?
    If you have already registered for Online Top Up you are automatically signed up for Text Top Up.

    New users must register online at http://www.digiceltt.com/home/

  5. What do I need to access Text Top Up?
    · A valid Credit Card – Visa or MasterCard
    · Access to the internet
    · An active/valid email address
    · A valid Digicel prepaid account

  7. Do I need to register for Online Top Up in order to use Text Top Up?
    Yes. In order to use Text Top Up, you need to register your credit card details online.

  9. How do I login in to Online Top Up?
    To access:
    · Go to http://www.digiceltt.com/home/
    · Select the Option for “TOP UP HERE
    · The Online Top Up page will be displayed, click on the following link “To register for Online Payment click here.”

  11. Is there a charge to register for Text Top Up?
    No. A random value not exceeding $1 USD (TTD $6.30) will be generated to your account during registration. This amount is reversed within 24 hrs and is charged for the sole purpose of verifying the person registering the card before completing the registration.

  13. What steps must I take in order to register successfully?
    · Log on to http://www.digiceltt.com/home/
    · Click on the tab – “TOP UP HERE
    · Under ‘New Users' access the link that says “To register for Online Payment click here.”

    · Select “Registration”. Then complete the following fields:
    1. Create username and password
    2. Personal information as it appears on your credit card bill
    3. Please enter your credit card details
    4. The optional feature of additional security which is enabled by clicking in the box provided.

      Note: After the above steps have been completed click the ‘Register’ button. At this point a transaction will be generated against your credit card as part of the authentication process. This amount must be obtained from your bank and is reversed within 24 hrs.
    5. Enter the amount obtained from your bank in the relevant field ‘Random Transaction Amount’ and click Submit to complete the registration process.

  15. What information is required in the registration process?
    · A unique username and password
    · A valid email address
    · Personal information including valid identification (i.e. driver’s permit, passport, national ID), security question and answer
    · Credit card information: Type of credit card (Visa or MasterCard), name on the credit card, expiry date, credit card number and security code (the last three digits of the security code usually located at the back of the credit card).
    · The transaction amount generated during registration (the exact amount must be obtained from your bank).

  17. What denominations can I add with Text Top Up?
    You can top up with any amount between TT $10 and $500 up to a maximum of $500 daily.

  19. Can I add credit to my postpaid phone using Text Top Up?
    No. Postpaid customers can utilize any of the following methods to pay their bills.

    · Any branch of First Citizens Bank, Republic Bank, RBTT, Scotia Bank.
    · VIA machines
    · Bill Express
    · SurePay
    · TTPost
    · Automated Credit Card and Debit Card payments
    · Called in Credit Card payments

  21. How will I know when I have successfully completed the registration?
    · Your initial registration details will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
    · The email includes a link that allows you to go back to the approval page should you want to complete the registration at a later time.
    · Once you have entered the correct transaction amount received from the bank, the registration is complete.

  23. Can I register multiple cards under the same account (username and password)?
    Yes. You have the option to add other credit cards to your account.
    1. Go to the tab “Registered cards”.
    2. Select the link “add new card”.
    3. Insert credit card details

      If multiple cards are added under one username then the system will default to the first credit card registered. If that card is invalid or CVC (credit card security code) does not correspond with the default, a text message will be sent to the user requesting another CVC number from subsequent cards registered. The CVC Code can be found at the back of the credit card. It is the last 3 digits of the credit card’s security number.

  25. Is there a limit on the number of cards I am allowed to register?
    No. There is no limit on the number of cards that can be registered.

    Yes. A credit card can be registered to two accounts as long as each account registers the correct credit card details.

    Yes. Once logged in go to: “Change Password” tab.

  31. How do I request top up using Text Top Up?
    After registering online you can request top up at any time by sending a text message to 1212 from your handset in the following format:
    Example: To request TT$50.00
    1. Create a new text message in format topup 50
    2. Send to 1212
    3. A confirmation text message will be received “To confirm your TTD50 top up please respond with your online top up username & password & CVC no. of your credit card in the format username password CVC no.”

  33. Is there a service charge for Text top up requests?
    No. There is no charge to use the service and the text messages are free.

  35. Am I limited to adding credit to one Digicel number using Text Top Up?
    No. You can add credit to any valid Digicel T&T prepaid number using Text Top Up. The Top Up will be credited to the handset from which the request was sent.

    Yes. When logged in, go to:
    1. The “Profile” Tab,
    2. Select the link for “Change Profile”
    3. Adjust as needed.

    · The transaction should be posted to your account immediately.

    Yes. Once the other network supports text messaging you will be able to request and receive top up while roaming.

  43. What should I do if money is deducted from my credit card and the amount does not reflect on my account?

    Contact Digicel’s Customer Care Centre by dialing 100 from your handset or 628-7000 from a landline and have the following information available:
    • Amount
    • Date
    • Last 4 digits of credit card
    • Mobile number
    • Transaction reference number (available if confirmation message was received)
    • Credit card statement if available.
