1. What is Digicel MMS Service?

• This service allows customers to send a multimedia message to other mobile phones locally, within the caribbean and internationally
• Both prepaid and postpaid customers can benefit from this.

2. What is a Multimedia Message?

• A MMS is one which comprise of still or moving images along. Note that it can include text with the images within the message (this is dependent on the sender). See table below

3. What are the requirements to send and receive an MMS message?

• Handset with MMS feature
• GPRS service
• Correct MMS setting installed on handset

4. What is the cost to send an MMS?

5. What is the format used to send MMS messages?

• The same format is used to send a MMS for both Caribbean and International i.e. +1 country code area code 7digit number or whatever dialing format that is used.

• The format remains the same to send a local MMS ( the 7 digit number)

6. Can I send a MMS to another local network?

• No, you are unable to send a MMS to the other network at this time, however you can send to local Digicel customers as well as the specified Caribbean and International countries.

7. Which networks am I able to send a Caribbean MMS to?

• Customers can send MMS to the below Caribbean Digicel territories.

9. While roaming in a Digicel territory can I use this service?

• Yes, once you are roaming within a Digicel territory you can use the MMS service.

10. What is the cost to send an MMS when roaming?

• US $1 plus the applicable data charges as per below table

11. While roaming in USA and Canada can I use this service?

• Once the network you are roaming on supports the MMS service you will be able to send MMS messages to other Digicel territories and your home network (Digicel TT).

12. What if the person I sent the MMS to does not receive it-what should I do?

• You can advise the receiver to ensure that their handset has enough memory to download the MMS on their handset.
• Ensure that the MMS settings is saved on the recipients phone
• Ensure that the recipient is currently on a network that supports GPRS/MMS service
• Recipient must be on a Network that we (Digicel) have MMS interconnection with.
