DIGICEL AND HARVARD CRICKET COACHING CLINIC PARTNER FOR SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
January 18th 2012 - DIGICEL AND HARVARD CRICKET COACHING CLINIC PARTNER FOR SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE YEARNow in its seventh year the Digicel Harvard Cricket Coaching Clinic 2012 was launched last Sunday, January 15, at the Harvard Club, on Tragerete Road in Port of Spain.
As in previous years the turnout for the official opening of the Digicel Harvard Cricket Coaching Clinic was tremendous, as proud parents and their excited little ones - some from as young as 5 years of age came out in their numbers for the start of the programme.
This year there are close to 200 participants registered, who hail from across the country, all ready to be part of this prestigious Clinic.
The six-month clinic is designed to support the growth of the cricketing talent among boys and girls in Trinidad & Tobago.
On hand at the event were the 25 dedicated coaches, who over the coming months will guide, encourage and nurture the young cricketing enthusiasts as they learn the fundamental skills of the game of cricket. The Clinics will run every Sunday until June 2012 from 9:00am to 12:00 noon.
Digicel’s Sponsorship and Promotions Manager Wendy Alleyne stated “This sponsorship continues to represent a tangible avenue for Digicel to make a contribution to the lives of the youth of Trinidad and Tobago, nurturing them in this celebrated game of cricket.”
Alleyne also reached out to the parents at the gathering, she said “I would like to thank the parents for facilitating the interests and in some cases the dreams of your children by providing them with this opening.”


Some of the Digicel Harvard Cricket Coaching Clinic 2012 coaches have the attention of these participants at the start of the clinic on Sunday January 15 at the Harvard Club in Port of Spain.
